Metropolitan Museum Artists in Concert

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has made its mark, not only in the sophistication of its galleries, but recently, it has also established itself as a patron of chamber music.

Sunday afternoon witnessed the grand performance at the University Of Louisville School of music by the Metropolitan Museum Artists. Six string players stole the show at the Comstock Concert Hall. This included Colin Jacobsen and Jesse Mills on the violins, Nicholas Cords and Max Mandel on the viola and also Edward Arron and James Wilson on the cello. The sheer finesse of the MMAC was evident right at the beginning of the concert, as they left no stone unturned at delivering the technically balanced and a most harmonious performance.

HMS President is the perfect destination to book a party venue London. HMS President (1918) is one of the finest party venues in London.

The orchestra’s version of Schoenberg's “Verklärte Nacht” or we can say Transfigured Night was the show stealer, similar to the last performance made at the Louisville Theatre. But, the originality introduced during this concert was amazingly close to the original, which gave the crowds reason to cheer.

There had been a poetic account taken from Richard Dehmel's poem of lovers walking alongside, as she had borne another man’s child. The translation of the same as a part of a song soon afterward was a spell bounding experience.
